Offer to buy the dog. If he agrees, and you are unable to give it a life yourself, try and find a home for him.

Antifreeze. You shouldn't have to see that every day.

Sit on a pear. Afterwards, look into option 3.

I'm having the same issue with my current roommate. 7 months he's had this dog (he got it at 6 weeks old) and he still hasn't gotten him his shots, got him neutered, clipped his nails, or even ****ing bathed him. Not a single time. This dog sits in it's crate 23 out of 24 hours in the day. It is so ****ing cruel...
But there is literally not a damn thing I can do about it. Not much you can do either, mate. Sorry. |

I had a neighbor who locked his poor dog out in the cold all night.

I'm talking big picture though. There's nothing I can do to change my roommate's philosophy on dog ownership. He just thinks of his dog as a piece of property (legally speaking that's what the dog is, which is why my hands are tied). He doesn't care about the dog and he never will. You'd think somone like that would just never get a dog in the first place but people are ****ed up in the head.. |

Ugh. I can't stand people who get pets and then irresponsibly deny them a loving home.
If the guy is a bit off, it's not like you're inviting him over for backyard cookouts anyway. Offer to buy the dog. If he says no, then tell him what you see and ask why he doesn't want to sell the dog. If he tells you to mind your own business, then tell him you hope his family gets raped by a 400 pound man. |
