Car Repair Question
I'm working on a Nissan Quest with automatic sliding doors. The door on the passenger side won't shut all the way when closing automatically. It shuts and then backs up very slightly. You can hear the motor running for a few seconds afterwards. It doesn't open all the way. It's basically like any other (non sliding) door that doesn't get slammed shut hard enough. It's closed enough to be locked, but you have to kind of bump it with your ass to close it the rest of the way.
Nothing seems to be blocking it, as I can easily shut the door manually. I have greased/oiled all of the railings and pivots to no effect. Any idea what might be causing the issue? Muffler bearings are brand new, the blinker fluid is at the optimal level, and the antifreeze is fresh and delicious. |
