The Best Show on Television... Entourage

This show fuggin Cracks me up. Maybe Im just sheltered because I dont watch TV much, but I started watching this show midway through season one, and freaking love it.

Its about this young movie star and his brother, and two friends from New York, and his rise to stardom...

Tonights show was at the Sundance Festival, where Vince's latest movie Queens Boulevard was a huge success...

plus Turtle and Drama double-teamed this Peace Corps Chick and accidently "crossed swords". heh. funny shit. [Sorry Gochiefs, but they didnt show that part]

Freaking Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven is fuggin unreal in this show. He makes it.

Here is some cool extra footage.

Anyway, if you have HBO on Demand, check it out... its great TV.

I just checked out seasons one through five on DVD through WorldCat. This had better be worth it.

I part of an episode once on a free-HBO weekend. I don't get HBO, and trying to rent television seasons through Netflix is as tedious as shaving my nuts. Plus, I've been busy for a long time until this summer.

So I'm just now getting around to this show.

I think you'll enjoy it. It's freaking awesome!

Warning: Season One doesn't really "take off" until Episode 3. It's a short season (six episodes) so it definitely leaves you wanting more.

Season Two's first episode sucks. After that, Season Two is VERY good.

The subsequent seasons have their ups and downs but no real "shitty, waste of time" episodes. They're all very, very well written and enjoyable but it's such a GREAT show, you're sometimes left with the feeling of "that's it?" after some episodes.

But even the "bad" episodes have their great moments.

Enjoy!

Edit: I meant Season Three, not Season Two's opening episode.

I always kind of wished it was hour long episodes. Sometimes you feel like it's just getting started, and boom... it's over.

(not a problem if you're watching them back-to-back on DVD, obviously.)

does anybody recognize the arcade game in Eric's new place? I saw it in the last episode. Vince's entourage and their dates go back to E's place to have a few drinks after the premiere. in the Alcove next to the living room there is an arcade game cabinet. can someone name that game?

I'm not liking the direction of the show this season. The guys as domesticated boyfriends? Any scene in the office not involving Ari and or his assistant is a wasted oppertunity. Who cares if this new guy screws up? Or the wifes get along? This is not a suburban domestic show, don't let the plot lines stray like this to evolve the show.

They're building. I actually think someone is getting killed off this year. Call it a hunch.
