Redskins discussion thread...

This is looking more and more like a tougher game than we thought it would be when the schedule came out.

The good news: Brunell can't throw to his right, at all. Warfield is back on the left side this week (hopefully), so that bodes well.

Brunell can't move much, and isn't going to shrug off sacks like McNabb. Jon Jansen's thumbs are in a cast, so maybe this is the week Eric Hicks does something.

Washington's pass rush is arguably WORSE than ours. We get Roaf back, so hopefully that means domination from the offensive line.

The bad news: Santana Moss has 458 yards in 4 games. Washington's TE Chris Cooley is a baller, too. Their O-Line is stout and then there's *gulp* Clinton Portis, who's got 366 yards rushing and a healthy 4.4 average.

Anyway, I'm concerned, but coming off a bye against a team playing it's second straight road game is reason for optimism.

Let's scalp those bastards.

Portis scares me...he does have a history against us and its not pretty. I still dont think hes playing in the right system, but hes still scary.

If our offense comes out stemming and gets us a nice lead, they will have problems running the ball, But Portis does worry me some.

'skins defense is for real. Their offense is questionable. Bottom line -- with a defense as good as theirs, they're a threat to beat any team in the NFL. Can't take 'em lightly, that's for sure.

We should win. But we "should" have won last week too. If Surtain can hold off Moss I think we'll be fine, because other than him they don't have much else to throw to.

My prediction-Chiefs finally pull their heads out of their anal cavities and play a complete game-but I have been wrong before.

Hello guys.

I'm looking forward to this weeks game. I've got a lot of respect for your team. This should be a good matchup, and I don't for a minute expect us to blow you out because Denver did. This will be another tough, hard fought game on both sides. It's gonna be fun. I hope we win.

I don't know man. Our offense is becoming less and less "questionable" every week. Brunell really showed that he's got some left in the tank today. He's the wild card on our team. If he plays as well against you guys, as he did against Denver. It's going to be interesting.

I don't think Washington's O is anywhere near as good as they showed today. Denver's offense gave them a ton of chances. KC's O won't do that.

I think this is the week our passing offense gets back on track. Washington's pass rush is anemic, and they have a rookie corner. We're getting Roaf back, which is huge of course.

I think the game will be decided by how well we deal with Portis.

One thing I don't know, and don't care to research, is how well the Skins special teams have played. Would any Wershington fans care to enlighten me?
