Richard Seymour averages less than 5 sacks a year over his career.

And some people thought that was Tyson Jackson's CEILING.

What a ****ing waste of the #3 pick.

Sheldon Richardson is an absolute NO for the #1 overall.

And the "value" term is a little relative. Say a team has a guy rated as a 2nd rounder, other team has him as a 5th. Who or what is value based on?

Apparently Parkins has some news to break but is waiting to do it tomorrow on the show.

Anyone have any idea what he's talking about?

If I had to guess, it's that Bowe is close to re-signing.

I'm somewhat opposite to normal thinking when it comes to need vs. value vs BPA etc. I'm looking to fill more need early, cause thats where the better players are.

Then once it gets late, I'm just taking BPA even if it's at a position I may be strong at.
I agree, but here is something I truly believe with Reid and Dorsey: they put a very high emphasis on the WR position.

The Packers took Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, James Jones and Randall Cobb all in round 2. They also took Javon Walker in the later part of round 1.

The Eagles took Todd Pinkston, Reggie Brown and DeSean Jackson in round 2. They also took Freddie Mitchell and Jeremy Maclin in the later part of round 1.

History says these guys value the WR position in the late first to late second round.

I think we are going to draft a WR at 34.

I really think we will too. There are going to be some really dynamic guys there. I really hope we end up with a comp 3 rounder, that would be huge in getting another CB and other position.

If I had to guess, it'll be the opposite. The Chiefs are going to let him test the market, a gamble for them to have him come back wanting less per year than what he's wanting now, and less than the tag is going to pay out.

You've built a pretty good case here.

Geno #1, Austin #34?

Depends on what you're looking for, I guess.

But the point is, there will be a half dozen pretty dynamic guys that could be available at #34.

I think its a more likely case as of this moment, than Bowe being close to signing.

Last we heard about the Chiefs is that Bowe is likely going to get tagged and Albert's the one in contract talks.

Hell, it might be a signing disclosure for Albert.

Yeah, it's just going to depend on what they are looking for or what they've done in FA.

I think the CB market in FA is pretty strong, and I wouldn't be upset if we found one there, freeing up a pick in teh draft.
