The Chiefs can change everything tomorrow.

This team hasn't gotten respect, and perhaps hasn't earned it, can change that all tomorrow.

This team is facing the defending Super Bowl champions.

This team has a chance to show the world that this limited, smart quarterback that doesn't beat himself can be a Super Bowl lead.

This team can prove the new way to build OLs is not with elite players at all positions but instead with a deep roster of versatile, interchangeable players that can fill in for each other at a moment's notice.

This team can prove that it has the best general manager in the league with the league's best run game being spearheaded by two players not even Chiefs players knew about yesterday.

This team can finally show Andy Reid can gameplan around any series of injuries against the stoutest of opponents.

This team has a defensive line that can wreck the interior of the Patriots' OL and put Brady on his ass all game.

This team has three edgerushers exemplifying toughness as they work to create havoc over their various ailments.

This team's defense is quarterbacked by perhaps the smartest ILB in the NFL, assuring that Belicheck's various tricks and lineups don't fool us into mistakes.

This team has the second-best CB tandem in the NFL, shutting down the outside and challenging Edelman and Gronk on the inside.

This team has the best leadership on defense at every level, ensuring competitiveness and mental fortitude to prevent a collapse at any setbacks.

This team is playing less like a collection of millionaires trying to get along, but as a family leaning on each other, doing their job with the faith that their teammates will be doing the same. With a whole roster of capable backups in the wings should injuries strike them down too.

They're all critical. They've all been MVPs at some point or another this season.

This Chiefs team is a true ensemble show, not a leading man and his minions.

This is the best Chiefs team I've rooted for since the turn of the century.

And tonight is the night they prove it.

Go Chiefs.

There's a scene about two thirds of the way through where the music swells up and the lead actor (can't spell/say his name) is alone on screen in a closeup, and slowly gazes up and into the camera.

High point of the film, honestly. Huge gut punch.

In the past six games away from Arrowhead the stats are even more impressive:

Only allowing 10.0 ppg;

Only allowing opposing QBs a passer rating of 49.61;

Only allowing conversions on third-down 31.25% of the time;

Chiefs have only given up 6 points in the second-halves of the last four road games and none in the fourth quarter during that time.

Just read the Pats D had more sacks this year than we did, #2 in the league. Had no idea they were even close. O-line better step it up a notch or its gonna be a long day.

Here's the thing on that...

Every game this year where we have faced supposedly great defenses Andy has crafted a plan that takes that advantage away. Yes Alex will take some sacks - but he will also extend some plays. For whatever reason, when Andy knows that heat is coming, he comes up with a smart game plan that stunts the other team's pass rush.

Not sure why he doesn't do it every game, but against the Texans twice and against the Broncos twice they averaged 3 sacks given up a game. Against Denver and Houston during the streak they gave up 2 and 3 respectively.
