24 discussion thread (spoilers, obviously)

24 is back tonight at 7:00 CST. Anybody watch this?

I got into it at the start of last season. I don't really watch any TV except sports, but it hooked me. Tune in if you have nothing better to do... it roxxors.

Hey, somebody on the 24 boards made a good observation....

You know you're NOT a 24 fan if you were surprised that Henderson was reporting to Logan. There have been plenty of clues throughout the season:

1. Logan was upset when he found out Jack was at the airport, and demanded to be told "everything."

2. Nathanson was able to listen in on Novick's call to Jack on a "secure line" from the presidential retreat / compound (implies assistance from Logan).

3. Logan gave the go-ahead for the gas release at the mall.

4. Learning that David Palmer was talking to Martha, Logan tries to discredit Martha and have her shipped off to the funny farm.

5. After "finding out" that Cummings was a "bad guy," Logan makes no effort to determine the real content of David Palmer's phone call to Martha.

6. Logan "made a deal" with the terrorists, giving them the Suvarovs route.

7. Logan was the one who sent McGill to CTU (to gather information / keep an eye on things).

8. Logan hands out immunity agreements like candy on Halloween.

9. Despite the proximity to where all this has been going on, Logan has absolutely NO concern that the terrorists might drive 15 minutes to release the nerve gas near him.

That's just off the top of my head - I'm sure I've omitted some.

Or of course Logan could be doing what he thinks is right for some as-yet-unrevealed larger goal, like wanting to allowing the terrorists to release gas at the mall and being willing to sacrifice the Russian president and his wife.

It's hard to imagine that they would have the President totally turn heel, but who knows.
Anyone who could bang a disgustingly ugly bag of stupid like the First Lady is obviously not making smart choices.

I now have three hours left in Season 4. The wait for the Season 5 DVDs is going to be unbearable.

I just got done duping all four seasons. I have watched season one, and am now on season two.

My observations from season one are:

His wife deserved to die. So did his daughter. I have rarely seen dumber characters this side of a bad horror flick.

Also, how stupid could CTU be, letting them get jacked over and over. You would think they could catch on after a while.

Damn, Jack married an ugly bitch.

Damn, Elisha Cuthbert is hot.

Give this show some time and you will still be asking the same thing more than a few times.

Kim Basinger, Iman, Olivia Newton-John, Goldie Hawn, Susan Anton, Katey Sagal, Wendie Malick, Susan Lucci, and Mary Hart are just some of the women over 50 that still look good.

Jean Smart is nasty, and not even that great of an actress.
