What's wrong with Dorsey?

I'm in no way trying to insinuate that Dorsey may be a bust but he has sure been a disappointment so far. What is the problem? Was he just over-hyped? I do think that eventually he will come around be alright but he seems to just disappear for long stretches. Maybe the expectations for him were a bit much. What you think?

Per nfl.com, Dorsey already has 13 tackles, 9 of those solo, and 4 were assists.

I've seen him get pushed around a bit, but I've also watched him take on double teams with little effort, and get decent penetration. Our young line has a lot of room for improvement, but he'll probably get a couple of sacks this year, and amass a hell of lot more tackles than Sapp did in his rookie year, going by the stats posted earlier in this thread.

Which is completely contradictory to how they said they were going to use him after the draft.

They said they were going to turn him loose.

Tyler should be the one eating up double teams.

Maybe they (Tyler and Dorsey) both need to command double teams so our worthless ends can do something worthwhile.
