Raiders really really suck

January 7th 2017 - The Future Looks Bright!

They may have just lost 24-17 against the Houston Texans, but that wasn't enough to stop Raider fan's Derek Carr circle jerk. The Raiders just finished up their first season over .500 since the 2002 season where they were annahilated by the Jon Gruden led Buccaneers, 48-21, in Superbowl XXXVII. The playoff loss to the Texans didn't upset Raider fan. They had lost there star QB two games before the playoff game, so expectations were at a minimum with rookie QB Connor Cook behind center. After the Carr injury, Raider fan had their sights set on the 2017 season.

2017 - Aargh, The Year of the Pirate?

This was the year the Raiders would take the AFC West title. In Raider fan's eyes the offense was going to be unstoppable, especially since they signed the missing link to their Marshawn Lynch and the defense would be more than adequate. They had one of, if not the best defensive players in the league, Khalil Mack, so what could go wrong? Fast forward to the end of the season and hilarity ensues; Derek Carr shit eyeliner all over his face and Marshawn Lynch, to no one's surprise outside Oakland, was trash. The Raiders dropped back to bottom of the AFC West with their equine friends. The Raiders finished 6-10 and all was right in the world.

Raiders - Ultimate Problem Solvers

The Raiders finished third in the AFC West in 2017. The team fell way short of expectations and the front office believed it was time to do something Earth shattering. The type of move that separates the contenders from the pretenders, so they called up an old friend. Jon "Chucky" Gruden returns by signing up to be the pirate captain for a record 10 years and $100 million. Raiders fans are ecstatic, because Jon will be the one to take them to the promise land. It's right before the start of the 2018 season and Jon being the genius he is, decides they have no need for an in his prime pass rusher who may just be the best defensive player in the league, so it's time to trade him away. As the season progresses we get to see what happens when you mix a has-been who hasn't coached in nearly a decade with one of the worst franchises in all of sports. A complete ****ing dumpster fire.

It's so ****ing awesome. What a joke the Raiders are. The excitement I would see from Raiders fans after the 2016 season, lame ****s. The Raiders are stuck with that jackass idiot for 10 years. I doubt that cheap ass franchise will release him before the contract is up. They don't want to pay 2 coaches. Then they are getting sued by the city. Couldn't happen to a better fan base either. Get ****ed Las Vegas/Oakland Raiders. Get ****ed Derek. Keep doing your thing Chucky and then get back to the booth.

You'd have to be some kind of enormous dipshit to root for them. For sure.

Hard to bash them. We went through the Herm and Roleo years. About as low and as shitty as a franchise can get during the dark ages of Chiefs football.

It's pretty easy to bash them. Since 2003 they are 81-159. In that same amount of time the Chiefs are 121-119. The Herm and Romeo years are what the Raiders experience every year.

Exactly. Every year is like Herm and Romeo for the Raiders...

Does that include playing in Super Bowls? Or winning playoff games?

That Super Bowl appearance was 16 years ago. They haven't sniffed the playoffs since. They're really not in any better shape than the Chiefs honestly. It's not like they are Denver.

It hurt watching our former backup QB that Marty never should have benched take them to a Superbowl, that hurt.
