Some idiot text messaged me and I would like to know who they were but it's not worth it for me to pay.

I have always used www.anywho.com. It sometimes doesn't pull up cell numbers, but I've had good luck with it, and it's free.

Just type the phone number into google. Google has a reverse directory built in.

I guess I should have considered the fact that you're looking for cell number. Cell phone numbers are unlisted, so it's highly unlikely you'll find it in any sort of directory.
