Sick of SPAM? I've found the solution!
I've been fighting SPAM at my company for about 3 years now, to no avail. I finally decided to try a mail-only host that had configurable SPAM filtering on the server-side, and well as user configurable filters. After some research I chose fusemail.com (which oddly enough is located in KC). They have been great. For .99 per mail box you get it all, your choice of POP or IMAP, awesome Webmail and an incredible Admin interface. They also have great groupware included, including a calendar etc. I have not had to do any custom filters, the standard SPAM filters are dumping 99.9% of the SPAM. Very few good emails are being marked as SPAM, and the filters "learn" when the make a mistake, so things are only done wrong 1 time. Best of all you can host as many domains as you like for no extra cost, meaning you can have 10 domains hosted and it's still just .99 per mailbox per month, and you can have as many alisias as you like. Good stuff. Saves me at least and hour a day of filtering thru spam.

I get no spam and lose no wanted messages for $0 per month running all free software.
I'm not sure how big your company is but it might make more sense to set up your own spam filtering gateway. It only takes an old PC and a day. The "learning" filters you're talking about are called Bayesian filters. There are an abundance of them. I actually don't use them anymore because everything was being caught before it even got to them. |

What happens when that old PC breaks when you are out of town and don't have internet access? DT |

I've got a Linux box running with great software. It was purchased in the company before I arrived here but it's been great! There's a few spam that get through but nothing too much. I've had to add a few policies here and there but it's been low maintenance.
