It's time to get him extended before the coaching carousel spins around. That KY job is going to snag a big-name coach.

Wouldn't Louisville love to pick him up if Pitino jumped ship? Memphis if Calipari did? Neither of those programs have the historical cache that KY does, they could get away with a smaller name. Both of those teams run a hard press, they could bring Anderson in without really hurting their system or taking their existing players out of their element.

Even more terrifying is the fact that Cousins was a big-time Anderson guy prior to his Memphis commit. I could see Memphis going HARD after Anderson to hold onto Cousins if Calipari bailed. Worse still, I can see Andeson jumping at the chance to go to Memphis.

Not sure we're out of the woods just yet. Earn your stinking pay, Alden.

It'll never EVER happen. KU is one of the top 5 jobs in the country. There's no way in the world Self would leave it for OSU.

And Kentucky fans are no different from Yankees fans or Toronto Maple Leafs fans (and really, you can add KY fans and Yankees fans together and not reach the level of insufferability that flows from Maple Leafs fans).

Self is not going to leave Kansas to go to OSU. That would be a huge step down in jobs. Why would a person leave a program that has top recruits seeking it out for a school that has to work it's tail off for decent recruits?
