So which one of you went to work on Pioli's Wikipedia Page?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Pioli

Quote:
After a disastrous start to the 2011 season, Pioli's hand-picked QB Matt Cassel broke his hand on November 14. On November 21, he was placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Palko proved to be inadequate as a backup to a merely serviceable Cassel, leading many to question how a team with legitimate playoff hopes entering the 2011 season had remained so thin at so many key positions during the offseason, especially at QB and safety, where the Chiefs lack of depth was more than woeful.

Haley was fired on December 12, 2011, after leading his team to a 5-8 record during the 2011 NFL season.[12] Pioli fired Haley with 3 games remaining in the 2011 season, with Pioli deflecting much criticism for the Chiefs underwhelming performance toward Haley's methods in handling the strike-shortened offseason in particular; Pioli named Crennel interim coach and the team went 2-1 for a 7-9 finish. Pioli hired Crennel to be full time head coach; however, the results of the 2012 season have been as bad or even worse than the 2011 season (as the only real change was Crennel, the same team has many of the same problems as the 2011 team - only now Pioli doesn't have Haley to throw under the bus.) The nucleus of his young team is basically comprised of Peterson-era holdovers (Jamal Charles, Tamba Hali, Brandon Flowers) and New England rehashes (Matt Cassel, Steve Maneri). Fans have hired pilots to fly banners condoning his ouster. Considering his team's performances, their actions may be justified.
Edit: Here's Clay's edit (Which has apparently been tampered with)

This was edited from my original wording, which was "Pioli's failings in Kansas City."

Someone from the Patriot Way got to this.

It's not "Pioli failed." Now it's "He was misguided."

Pioli is a victim.

That was a part of Clay's edit, I'll add it to the op.

I didn't mess with it, but 'misguided' is worse than merely failed.

Failed may mean that the process was sound but the result, for whatever reason, didn't come.

Misguided means that everything in the decision making process was just poorly thought through and decided. Misguided means ****ed up from its inception.

I like the new wording better.

Misguided sounds like Bill Parcells gave him bad advice on everything.

Yeah. Like on sticking with 'your guys'. That's a Parcell flaw in Pioli; see it worked for Parcells because "his guys" were : Phil Simms, Bill belichick, Lawrence Tayler, Keith Byars, Tom Coughlin etc.

Hey Pioli!! Dexter McCluster is NOT Dave meggett!!! Matt ****ing cASShoLLLLLe is DEFINITELY not Phil ****ing Simms!!

****!!!!

There seems to be a brotherhood amongst USC QBs

Cassel is #10 in this pic

Dang, there's really been a lot of USC QB's make it to the NFL in the last 8-10 years that have turned out to be mediocre. Looking at these pics I don't think there's any way I want Barkley next year.

SC QB = no bueno.

SC is almost as bad as Michigan QBs (Brady being the only exception I can think of)
