Is there anyway to sync with my wifes google or hotmail calendar on an iPhone? she primarily uses hotmail so I would prefer to sync with that.

Sure. Go to Settings\Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, then add the account. It will give you several options for syncing mail, contacts, calendars, notes. Be sure calendars is selected. Then further down in that screen, you can set which calendar is the Default calendar.

I found an article that said to do just that but it still is not syncing.
