We had Hooters wings brought over by my parents who came to see the new kitchen. I have a 2 pound trout in the frig for tomorrow's dinner. It was shipped in this morning. :-)

**** me, I found some GOOD Asian food in Springfield, MO. Luong's is actually the sons of the original inventor of Springfield Cashew Chicken. And they have legitimately good ingredients, and food. It's not just chicken mcnuggets smeared with sweet and sour sauce.
I had the Cashew Chicken, the wife had General's chicken. Both were delicious. My only complaint is the fried rice leaves a little something to be desired, but it was edible. They also have a sushi bar that is prepared to order. It's not just sitting around all day drying out. Fantastic. If you are in the area it's on Republic Rd. Check them out. They're awesome. |

Dined outside at the Viansa Winery in Sonoma. The executive chef gave grilling lessons as the vintner filled our glasses over & over again. Then we had grilled veggies marinated in some really good stuff & grilled ribeyes & chicken breast & a most excellent salad made out of some fancy I-don't-know-what. And wine and biscotti dipped in desert wine. Then we came home to Petaluma & went to American Graffiti Day (this is where it was filmed). The downtown is crawling with 900 vintage cars & hotrods. Then I logged on to Chief's Planet to try & irritate someone.
