I'm glad other people are having lag issues. This shit has been ****ing infuriating. I pay for an 18/5 line and can't ever get a four bar connection. I've run several speed tests over the last few days to figure it out and speedtest.net has been measuring me at 28-31 down and 3 up.

I seriously can sight someone up while they are running at me, start shooting, not get hit markers until halfway through the clip, get 4-5 hit markers, and still ****ing die.

My accuracy is at 16% but I can't get my kd over 1.1. ****ing aggravating as hell.

oh, and I've never had lag problems as bad as this with any of the previous call of duty games.

I've seen some lag in MW3, but nothing like I experienced in BLOPS.

I run with all green bars and still get a shit ton of lag each game.. Always when I am aiming also.. Seriously, make a billion on a game and wont afford dedicated servers.. Hell at least they should do it for 360 users..

So, I was on last night and Iowanian and I were trying to blast douchebags. He sent me an invite and every time I hit Join Party or Join Game, I'd get a kick-back message, "unable to join".
Finally I was able to just join his game when someone else left but the lag was horrid. My WiFi is the best on the market so I know it wasn't me. I'd be running around, get someone in the scope and the next thing I know, I'm shooting 10 feet behind him or I'm dead. This has happened several times now and I'm getting a little sick of it.
I finally hit the top level for the Scar, have the thermal on it, no kick, granade launcher and it doesn't make a **** becasue of their shitty server.
IMHO, COD 2 and Black Ops ran way better for PS3. Maybe I'll go trade it in on an X-box...

I really like the CM901 and you unlock that gun at level 18 or 19. It does the most damage of any automatic assault rifle. The only downside is it has a pretty slow rate of fire, BUT if you put a grenade launcher on the CM901 it will double the fire rate of the gun making it a BEAST. I normally put a silencer and a grenade launcher on it and the other full auto assault rifles can't compete with it. I don't know if they meant to make the gun fire faster with a grenade launcher or not so they could patch it.

The Type 95 is unlocked at level 32 and it is arguably the best gun in the game because of how quickly it kills, but it is a 3 round burst weapon so if you aren't that accurate (like me) you probably won't like it very much. EDIT: You should definitely put a red dot and rapid fire on the Type 95 if you want to use it.

My favorite assault rifle is the ACR but it isn't unlocked until level 60. It's probably the easiest assault rifle to use because of the low recoil and it has very good damage.

I haven't had any connection or lag issues when playing. I'm on xbox and my connection is about 20 down 4 up.

You should never put thermal on anything. Ever. The Scar with kick and a silencer is really good.

Ohhhh...I'm gonna try that. The CM901 was my favorite AR until I unlocked the ACR.
