This has to be one of the funniest threads I've ever read. I saw that it was about ESPN HD, and wondered how in the world it could be multiple pages. Well, it's been a slice of heaven. It starts with legit discussion about the merits of HD, and spirals into direct insults like idiot, reerun, age bashing, redneck bashing, and then a grand finale makeup.

Just wanted to point out another advantage of HD sets. If you are into home theater you can hookup a DVD player that has a DVI out and it upscale it to 1080i. Its not true HD but it looks significantly sharper than standard 480 DVD resolution.

Also as far as Tivo goes many cable companies in large cities are starting to offer HD DVR's.
