Has anyone had any problems getting their PS3 to connect wirelessly to a Linksys router? I'm having problems with mine and my friend said that he had the same issue....so he bought a Belkin...and it works just fine.

My linksys was plug and play. I had no issues at all. I'd like to help you out, but I'd be in the same boat had it not been plug and play. I went through the PS3 menu to set it up, but I had no problems at all.

It's been awhile since I did mine. Once I got it lined out I've had no problems.

The WEP key was the lynchpin in my experience. I also utilized the MAC address filter on my router.

i use a linksys and it never has had an issue...ive felt the dl's have been slow for demos a long time ago when i first set it up...but im impatient. Although i have barely played a game on my ps3(bluray player mainly) but i found out i had nina gaiden demo on there somehow that i mustve downloaded in the background. 983mb, i couldnt imagne how long that took...cuz i only have the system on to watch a bluray movie. dl'ing in the background, does it do that during movies being played? does it just start dling when turned back on after being off? Ps3 games look sweet, esp this demo, played it about 15 min. I might have to dl more demos....and the only game i own is grand theft auto and i loaned that right away to a friend once i got it. I might start gaming a bit here soon for once..
