Here ya go man.....

Published: July 29, 1998
The Indianapolis Colts reached a contract agreement today with Peyton Manning, the Tennessee quarterback who was the first player picked in the National Football League draft.

The contract -- the biggest ever for a rookie -- is worth $48 million over six years with an immediate $11.6 million signing bonus, said Ken Kremer, an associate of Manning's agent, Tom Condon.

Manning is expected to sign the contract Wednesday.

The accord came two days after quarterback Ryan Leaf of Washington State, the second overall pick, reached agreement on a five-year, $31.25 million deal with the Chargers.

It would be fine with me if the Chiefs had a donkey bunghole licker for a QB if it meant the 2007 Vince Lombardi Trophy was sitting on the front desk of the Chiefs Administration Office, intead of the useless Governers Cup I saw the last time I was in there.
