For something that is supposedly over (based on a blowout series where LeBron was essentially playing 1 on 5, of course), though, you certainly do seem to worry about it an awful lot.

At just 29, the threat of LeBron breaking records and winning more titles looms for years to come.

Let's move on to Wade, I hear alot of people say he was a former shell of himself and there is no doubt he isn't the Wade that won his first championship but in the Pacers series he averaged 20 pts and shot 55%. All of sudden he now he is a shell of himself? Same thing with Bosh. No I just think they had a bad series and the Spurs defense had alot to do with that. They played great D the entire series and got up into their grill and contested shots all series long.
You're even denying Wade's decline to fit your narrative? If your memory doesn't go back that far, go watch a game from 2-3 years ago with Wade and compare it to anything this series. He's fallen far and fallen fast.

There's a vid out there detailing his "defense" in this series, and it's Harden-esque ---- in fact, probably worse than Harden. Believe I saw it on Deadspin, but don't have time to look for it. As bad as he has been offensively, it's his defense that's really fallen off the cliff. He and LeBron lurking around the perimeter on defense was death for other teams the last three years. Not anymore.

It's a shame, though. The Spurs play some of the most dominating and ruthlessly efficient basketball ever played, but it gets ignored in the ridiculous need of some to point fingers at LeBron.

Probably worse than Harden because Wade was actually trying to guard. The guy just can't move anything like he used to. You had hoped sitting out all those games during the season would have allowed him to do so, but he's just not the same player anymore.

Who cares go honestly? I'll never understand why fans think they need some sort of validation from national media?

YOU the hometown fan know far more about your team than a National guy ever will.

Teams like the Lakers, Yankees, Heat, Cowboys will always get more media coverage than small market/small media cities. That's just the way it is.

Does it still count if he leaves for another city to play with a more talented team or they bring in yet ANOTHER NBA all star?

It's getting ridiculous

You tell me. I'm sure his haters like yourself will have no problem putting an asterisk on whatever he does no matter what happens in the future.

Oh, I know. Just a shame that's how it works. And it isn't even just the media, it's the general fans too.

I don't hate Lebron. I think he's the best player in the NBA but comparing him to Jordan is laughable. I just wish players would stay in their city and try to win a title that way.

The whole issue is the NBA. They are marketing Lebron into something he's not.

At age 29, LeBron is already 15th in NBA regular season win shares (just behind Kobe for 14th) and already 4th in NBA history in playoff win shares (just behind MJ, Duncan, and Kareem). He has a very good chance to finish his career on top of both lists. But yeah, totally marketing LeBron into something he's not.

Nowhere near as much as a team that good should get. The "Spurs are boring" narrative still persists with some of the ignorant crowd.
