I just turned level 5. I was side questing pretty hardcore..some little c*cksucker talked me into helping destroy some stupid ass underground station full of fire ants and after dying for about the 12th time I said "fuck it" and went back to Megaton to talk..er shoot Morty in the face.

Then I went looking for my dad and just got through the radio station quest and now I'm heading out to the museum to pick up a satellite dish of some sort.

I'm gonna start playing the story line more than the side quests because it's pretty fun. But I still enjoy killing random people and stealing any and everything I can.

I'm at level 9 and have yet to see a fireant. As far as the main quest goes, I have just left rivet city.
I have killed lots of innocent people and have left a number of children parentless. Most of their parents were cannibals though.
I'm just exploring and picking up a side quest here and there.

Yeah..I was battling them when I was level 2 and it sucked. I had shitty guns and hardly any hp, and they can shoot a stream of fire like 15 feet and spray back and forth.

They're in the Grayditch area...not too far from the Super store or whatever it's called. I went back in that store after my quest for Moria, and some kid approached me as I left and I helped the little fucker out. And doing his shitty quests have caused me to waste like 2 hours of gameplay fucking around with fire ants. I don't know why they're so hard to kill. Especially the bigger ones..probably because I had horrible guns when I was level 2. I haven't searched around and found anything worth a damn.

Not very fun to fight when you're low on food and ammo.

I really, really wanna get back on and play some more tonight, but if I do I know I won't end up going to bed until like 5 or 6 in the morning and I won't be worth a shit tomorrow.

I downloaded the demo and the framerate is just so-so - controls are mehh.

Stick to the PS1 or N64 version.

Download the demo for it and you decide.
