Prediction for ABC

I bet this week's game gets the highest ratings of the season for MNF. Not because of the Chiefs, but all of the pub they have had all week. I bet the same happens with Desperate Housewives. ABC might have a took a negative hit this week, but I bet ratings will go up because of it.

Ratings will go up for several reasons. I hardly watch MNF as I have to get up at 5 the next morning for work. I know several people that feel this way but will go without sleep to see this matchup.

Any guesses on what the skit will be?

I'm figuring a tie-in between the Sox and Pats similar to what they did last year with Christopher Lloyd. Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be tame.

They know exactly what they are doing. All this apologizing this week is just lip service. When I was in TV & Radio the common creed was "any pub is good pub, and fee pub is the best kind".

When you have all your competitiors talking about your network, that's free pub.

Our local sports radio staion,WEEI, claims to have inside info on what the skit will be.

Brady, Bruschi and two Chiefs will basically be watching a generic MNF skit and goofing on it. That's pretty much it. They claim the interesting part of this is that the script was written before the Desperate Housewives skit was aired.

I doubt the ratings will be that high. A few years ago the Chiefs and Patriots played MNF, to the worst ratings the show ever had.It was one of the classic Elvis Grbac moments, last play of the game and he throws 20 yards short of the endzone to Tony G.
