Cinematographer is the guy who actually looks through the camera, lines up the shot, films the scene, etc....

(in simple, cameraman)

Outside of director, I would want to be a producer, publicist, or agent.

I tend to agree. Casting would be a really cool job if you could pick the best person for the role without having to think about "who's hot."

Actually, even considering that would be fine as long as that wasn't the sole criteria. It would be just as interesting to juggle different actors/actresses to optimize both box office appeal and cinematic appeal.

I have worked on various shoots as a grip, and a PA. As a grip, I was told by the gaffer what light to set up and where. Although most of these weren't movie shoots, they weren't low-budget, either. We never had a best boy. I was told long ago that a grip creates light, and a gaffer perfects it.
The gig that I loved that wasn't in the poll was that of being a dolly grip, which is the guy that pushed and pulled the dolly with the camera mounted on it on the tracks.
