Upon further review of 2013...
.. would trading for Tony Gonzalez made a difference?
Say KC traded a 2014 4th (D'Anthony Thomas' spot), a 2015 conditional pick anywhere from 2nd-6th round and Sean McGrath (for sake of example.. substitute him for any player of value that could be traded under the cap). If that's the asking price, do the Chiefs win more games with him than do without him or is there no difference? Is the hypothetical cost of two picks and a "replacement" level player worth it? Discus. Edit 2: For sake of example, Tony would be dealt during Atlanta's bye week, which was Week Six.
