VOTE NOW!! New FFL thread. We've got to fix the headhunters screwup!

We need to do something to rectify the mess we have now. I propose this:

We start over with a new draft. We have until next Wednesday to pre-rank our keepers. We will then start our new league in week 3 of the NFL schedule. We also might consider moving to Sandbox because the player rankings at Yahoo are so screwed up. I prefer Yahoo's format as it is easy to manage your team. The only drawback I see is the ranking system. Please post your thoughts or comments as soon as possible so we can get the ball rolling in fixing this mess.

Start over.I'm not happy about it,but if it ends the bi+ching ,alright.I do think Headhunters should be penalized for wasting everyone's time on the 1st draft though.Drafting last is probably the only way to do this,although the punishment is not severe enough.I like Sandbox better,but already have a team there,so I would have to create a new ID.(since your only allowed 1 team)This is alot of time and effort for nothing,especially for the organizers (Dartgod and Jeff)

I thought that the draft was set for Friday, It was not so o well. I thought that we were to drop players on the other list to the bottom, that didn't happen. I know the commish drop players from my list but no others, o well just leave it the way it is and I will make due. I got in this for the fun of it if oters want to take it other wise that is there down fall not mine. I will make do with what I can get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to add one more thing.

Im not exactly sure how screwed up this thing is, ie, how many keepers are on the wrong teams?

Im willing to vote for a re-draft as well as having the waiver period. I feel jipped that there was no waiver period and I was unable to pick up some of the best UDFA's on the board.<P>

I'm with ansonsdad, if it will keep everyone from complaining lets redo it. I would just play it the way it is, even though I have lost one keeper for the year and another guy, is very often injured. What can one do.

Also, FWIW - I'm not complaining. If I'm forced to drop my 5th round pick with no similar value in return, then I'm complaining.

Tommorrow night is good for me. phobia it should be the same draft order. It took me 30 minutes to pre-rank 100 players. Packard needs to e-mail everyone on the developments though so we don't have the same clausterfuck.

And let me just set the record straight, here, The only reason I said anything about this on the Yahoo site was because, I dont think we ever really decided as a group how to fix this problem.

Titus - Yeah I have been really busy and couldn't think of one good way to do it. These are my personal feeling on this "new" draft.

First we do a straight draft, no snake. Since we are playing a keeper league which drafts in order from last place to first place this should hold true for the draft.

Our first pick will be our 4 keepers and then go from here, that is the problem with redoing a draft one of my keepers is out for the season, and I really hate to do it again.

We switch back to 3 defenders and 1 less offensive player, just like last season.

Anyone see anything wrong with this?
