I know. I had a semi-friend in high school who had drinking issues and he said exactly that. A few months later, he slammed his VW into a tree at 60 mph in a 25 mph zone.

****ing unbelievable. No, it's not the same as Britt Reid, but it's a massive distraction that will be all over the ****ing news in Super Bowl week. And it personally affects our most important player. What an absolute asshole.

In my 20s my group of friends i used to drink/go to bars with seemed like they were having a contest to see who could get the most DUIs. I would either walk or uber/cab. I got to the point where every Saturday my car was parked in the same spot at the bar. An uber is like 1.5 drinks. Beats a year+ of hassle and fines.

TMZ story says for his LAST DUI which was in 2019, he served 40 days in jail, but they let him serve it on the weekends. The penalty for a 3rd or more is up to 10 years. I'm sure he won't get that but if the best he was able to do was 40 days in jail last time I'm gonna guess it gets considerably worse this time.

The Chiefs will be dedicating this Super Bowl win to ALL people imprisoned for the so-called "crime" of operating a motor vehicle while totally schwasted

Patrick didn’t just wake up this morning and realize his dad is irresponsible. The timing is unfortunate but the team will rally around him and he will shut out all the outside voices.

It’s not anything like Britt Reid in that most of our players don’t know him or give a shit.

Sucks for Patrick though. But I don’t see it impacting his play in the moment. It’ll just be a bummer postgame to not see him there, if he can’t go.

I mean Britt Reid was in the building coaching every single day, he was Andy’s son, and he almost killed a young child.

Pat Sr. is a moron but no player is gonna notice a change in their day to day lives from this. Not even close to the same, if you’re trying to compare the two.

No it's not even in the same zip code of level of awful. But you know what? I'd just like to have this game without any ****ing massive off field distractions. I know it's a lot to ask. Just everybody around the team just manage to not get ****ing ARRESTED the week of the Super Bowl. Can we have that please? It's just ****ing infuriating.

Dude spent 40 days in jail in 2019 but still is doing this shit. TMZ already reaching out to the Mahomes "camp" for comment. ****ing great.

None of our guys are going to be happy answering questions about drinking and driving from the shit-sucking media, though, which they certainly will be now. Especially Pat.

What a ****ing tool.

At least nobody got hurt, but still just silly. It’s ridiculously easy to get an Uber/Lyft, literally two or three touches of your phone and your home.
