No worries on McKinnon he usually gets signed after the draft or OTAs. I think he likes missing OTAs

Prince is the worst RB I’ve seen since Unsliced Bread Malone

I am wondering if this is the year they don't resign McKinnon. His age is one thing to think about.

We need a dependable #2 back to take some of the load off Pacheco. And I am not sold that JK Dobbins is the guy...

Would prefer someone that makes more sense....and Price and Perine are not the answer.

If they give Prince any carries in the regular season they're lost.

I thought this was a April 1st fool joke until I realize it was April 2. Why was it so important to sign him before the draft? Which NFL team wanted him more? His agent must of pulled a fast one on KC.

Yeah - 2023 Fat Clyde (AKA: Clyde Edwards Éclair) was a different animal than previous versions.

He was much sturdier at contact. Not in a Jamaal Charles way where contact balance allowed him to keep moving after contact, but mostly in a mini-Bettis sort of 'physics work' way.

He still has those short/choppy strides so he's solid out of the backfield and he still has good hands. He doesn't have any burst to speak of but he's not pretending like he does anymore.

He's not the guy he was when he was drafted. And while that's trading any ceiling at all for a playable floor, at least the floor is viable now. The ceiling was pretty obviously a pipe dream to begin with.

God I hope not.

McKinnon is done. I'm happy he got to contribute in the SB but 2022 McKinnon ain't walking through that door. There will be any number of UDFAs that can give us more than he'll give us in 2024. There will be street free agents that can do it.

McKinnon is shot.

This. We need to draft an Achane type RB. Not try to stack a bunch of washed up vets at RB.

He had 1.1 yards after contact/attempt last year, his worst of his career. I think they used him so infrequently that when they would use him and he'd have a good play, people would fixate on that play more than they otherwise would. Cause he was really bad last year.

Yep. Early on last year I said Jet is out of runway.

I think some of that was he got carries at the end of the game. Reid put him in because he doesn't fumble and Pacheco had got a lot of run. I think that affected his performance. He had some decent plays in limited use. If he's gotta take 20 carries, **** that we have to have something better. But if he plays 20 snaps, I'm good.

He is no longer a failed 1st round pick.

He is a free agent we signed as a backup, on the cheap, who already knows the system, and is already a part of the winning Chiefs culture.

From here on out, expectations for CEH aren't, and shouldn't be, tied to his draft position.

Bingo.

I was probably the biggest Meh hater of them all. He’s become a small piece, and he does fine in that role.

What good is knowing the system if you can execute it well?
