View Poll Results: What will be the THREE main reasons for the Chiefs win on Sunday vs. the Steelers?
Alexander the Great – Playoff Alex runs and passes us to victory 35 38.04%
Big Red Wall – The offensive line makes pockets and pancakes with equal aplomb 0 0%
Game plan – Reid and his assistants outsmart people like Joey Porter who once got shot in the buttocks. 25 27.17%
Half All Pros – They aren’t all All-Pros, but half of them are and the rest are good. The DBs keeps the towel boys covered all day. 5 5.43%
Lucky breaks – On any given Sunday, fortune is fickle, and it shall shine on the Chosen 53 in Kansas City. 9 9.78%
Officiating – Because the Chiefs will get the benefit of the doubt over the team that had seven officials on their side against Miami. 0 0%
On Donner and Blitzen – The outside pass rush makes Pittsburgh resort to cannibalism. 2 2.17%
RAC ‘em up – Kelce and his merry band of receivers evade their pursuers like Von Miller in a police chase 16 17.39%
Special Teams – Santos and Colquitt land bombs, Ty-wreaks havoc, Murry hurries, and so on. 11 11.96%
The Earth’s core – the DTs and ILBs control the middle of the field and push the pocket 4 4.35%
Trickery – Andy, Toub, and Sutton bring out the bag of trick plays in force to confuse their iron-brained opponent. 3 3.26%
Turnovers – The Chiefs will grab unescorted footballs like Roethlisberger grabs unescorted college girls. 34 36.96%
Tyreek – He deserves his own category here. 32 34.78%
Western Ware – West and Ware saddle up and ride hard to get the tough yards 3 3.26%
It's all so intertwined that I can't build the regression model necessary to isolate the key independent variables. 6 6.52%
I don't know. But I do know the Chiefs will win. 11 11.96%

When the Chiefs win Sunday...why?

I'll categorize this generally by unit with a few other categories mixed in. Since no win is produced by one single unit, we'll each pick three. THREE.

Poll coming slower than Tyreek Hill in the 100-meter dash, but still pretty fast.

I'm still in "because Chiefs" mode.

Personally, I think everyone needs to simma down now.

We can't have an "If we lose" thread on the front page without a "When we win" thread.

And anyway, per an earlier thread, I'm doing the opposite of everything I've done as a fan for the past 40 years, because that old stuff never worked. The Chiefs are going to win the Super Bowl!

Y'know who I think the key player will be?

Chris Jones.

A pass rush up the middle will throw the Rapist off his game. Jones had few if any snaps in their earlier game this year, so the Steelers won't have experience with him, and I think he's going to blow up the middle of the pocket.

Gameplan, Tyreek, Turnovers.

Honorable mention: Kelce.

I trust that Reid is gonna have some fun new plays cooked up for Tyreek, and Ben tends to throw INTs on the road. Add the fact that this defense is extremely good at forcing turnovers anyway, and you got a recipe for success, BABY!
