You know what one of the knocks on Jacoby Fords was?

That he only runs deep routes.

Like the ones that helped beat us today over and over when they matched him up against our best corner that HIS biggest knock predraft was his lacking deep speed.

Its a shame that we couldn't get Flowers some safety help after the first deep ball.

I don't know about "established" himself. It was Austin's first start of his career in that game.

Jacoby Ford is a rookie. He could break out any week, and then screw the pooch the next. He won't be a consistent threat like Austin but he's a great guy to have as a slot receiver.

We need to deactivate Bowe. He's a hopeless case. I want a guy that knows how to step up and make a play in a clutch situation. I'd rather have a Terrence Copper type guy who doesn't do much on offense, but if he knows how to makes plays in clutch situations he's worth having.

hahahaha

NOT exactly

Bowe has 7 touchdowns in 8 games.

"deactivate him"

He may not be Larry Fitzgerald, but he is part of the reason we are 5-3.

His drop on third down killed us today, but its not like it was a cakewalk catch to make either.

Deactivate him for 1 game to get his mind right. It has worked with DJ. DJ and Bowe are very similar players. You take away what they love and they will come back and do even better the next time.

And they are both extremely inconsistent. I want a consistent player that is reliable. Bowe is the opposite of that.
