Obviously, there are several vulnerable spots on the roster that could and should be improved upon. John Dorsey isn't a huge free agency guy, or hasn't been in the past, and will no doubt look to improve many of our problems through the draft. There are, however, several big name guys that could garner some attention from the Chiefs. Here are a few positions that I think we need to improve upon, and the 2014 FA's for those positions (age of FA shown). Feel free to add to the mix. I've bolded a few players that I think we may show interest in.

3 of our OL are coming up as FA's (Schwartz, Asamoah, and Albert) so we'll need to pick up a few pieces or resign some guys. I'm betting Albert is gone.

I wouldn't bother mentioning Dennis Pitta because the Ravens won't let him leave.

ESPN is reporting that Desean Jackson is asking for a pay increase...could be good news for us Chiefs fans that want Maclin in KC next year

I'm not big on Hawkins or Alexander. They've been in the league for 3+ years and we know what they are. The production potential really isn't any better than Avery.

Ravens are cap strapped. I really want the Chiefs to make a hard play for Arthur Jones. That would help the pass rush.

You're talking about a team who traded Boldin for a 6th because of cap. They won't be able to keep Jones and Pitta.

Last 9 weeks 12 Sacks (3 of those were the backups vs Chargers)

Need another pass rusher, a FS and a CB.

Take CB off the damn list. Our CBs are just ****ing fine.

We need a 3rd pass rusher behind Hali and Houston. Hali is already showing signs of decline. We need someone that can rotate in and give those guys a breather without losing the ability to get after the QB. FS is an obvious need. But we also need DEs that can actually rush the passer.

We need a CB. Our CBs are slower than Christmas and it was pretty obvious all season.

Flowers is getting older and I'm sold on Cooper. Robinson is terrible at this point. Our CBs are over rated.

Flowers is just fine in the NB role. Not sold on Cooper? The dude made leaps and bounds for being a converted WR who was a 7th round pick. He needs an offseason to get reps and he'll be just fine. We need help with our pass rush and a FS that isn't a ****ing reerun.

I like Cooper but we should try and trade Flowers. Or, think about moving him to FS. He might work out there. He's best in zone coverage and is a great tackler. In a perfect world he would make a great FS.

He is really slowing down and he gets hurt so much you can't count on him to be there for you. His injuries seem to always effect his speed and ability to cover WRs. If we move him to FS he might make it through a season?
