Anyone here try the Vibram Five Finger [Toed] Shoes, yet?
I got a pair for Christmas, well a couple days before Christmas... and they are by far, the most comfortable shoe that I've ever worn.
I have flat feet, and so standing properly in shoes has always been a challenge... but the way these shoes are constructed, my feet are perfectly in the right place, for like the first time ever. http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/index.htm Quote:

I've been tempted to buy them for running because they're supposedly easier on the knees, but then I heard that in long distance running they make one more prone to shin splints. I'm still intrigued, but in running you apparently either have to go with traditional shoes or barefoot shoes, and can't mix and match.

I do work out barefoot most of the time, I find that it's a more complete workout that way.

I bought them for all my lady friends and gay friends for Christmas. They seem to love them.

I run barefoot at the park so those were recommended for me, but my feet do not fit in any of the shoes.. Size 13 My big toe is cramped, size 14 and my smaller toes will not even make it to the start of the toes.. Everyone that I do know that wears them loves em... Very popular shoe right now for natural runners.. |

Rex Ryan loves them. That's all the endorsement I need.
