You can't do it legally, but it can be done nonetheless

I'd guess getting your iPod to work with it would be the least of your worries...

I would also back up the files on your computer that constantly reboots. You could possible have hardware failure, mainly the HD that your OS is running on. I have lost data in the past, just being a dumbass and not backing my shit up. |

My daughter got an iPod this summer. I thought the thing was pretty cool until she plugged it into my laptop and the stinkin' Apple crud invaded the computer. I had some real fun getting everything it installed off my computer and getting my music files reallocated.
If I go with a personal music player, it will be a MP3 player. 'Course for what I would use one for, I can simply use the MP3 CD player I have and just change out the library by putting another CD with 8 hours of music in.

I believe there is software that allows you to fix this issue.
Someone mentioned it in another Ipod thread. Search the lounge and the geek forum for "ipod".

You have to turn off the autoupdate thing on your ipod.
If autoupdate is on, it will just copy the itunes library from the computer you are connected to and delete your previous music. Once you turn the autoupdate off, just drag and drop your music from an itunes library to your ipod in itunes. It may not be called autoupdate exactly, but that's how you do it. |
