Yeah, just barely. Congrats on the win. Some might say that ASU gave the game away with all those turnovers, but good defense forces mistakes. I don't know what Walter's condition is, hopefully OK for the bowl game, but I will say I'm hopeful for the future with Keller at the helm (although his receivers did make him look pretty good, with one notable exception). While it always hurts to lose to your rival, it still looks like we're going to the Holiday Bowl, which was best-case scenario anyway. Yesterday, UA was the better team.

Quarterback Andrew Walter’s Arizona State career is over after suffering a third-degree shoulder separation in the fourth quarter of Friday’s loss to Arizona in Tucson.

Walter will miss ASU's postseason bowl game, though it’s not known if surgery will be necessary.

Walter finished his career by completing 777 of 1,416 pass attempts for 10,617 yards. He became the Pacific-10 Conference record holder for most career touchdown passes (85), breaking John Elway's long-standing mark of 77.

He was the first ASU player to eclipse the 10,000-yard career mark and the first to throw for 3,000 yards in a single-season (he did that three times, 2002, 2003 and 2004).

"I feel very badly for Andrew,’’ ASU coach Dirk Koetter said.“Andrew made a big decision when he decided to come back to school and help our program. Now, we will do everything we can to help him with his future."

Sophomore Sam Keller will start at quarterback in ASU’s bowl game.
