Little Help with Windows 7 Professional

Is there a setting for removing the option of being prompted to change your password every 45 days? If so, where is it?

It's a work machine. We each have our own desktop that links to a server. Basically, I believe we're each the administrator of our own computers.

Good luck removing the 45 day window then.....unless you don't have an IT computer and your boss gives you the OK.

Yeap you can't do it, I bet its set on your Active Directory account. This is a security thing likely set by your Company's IT.

I am the computer guru of the office. There are only 4 of us. 2 attorneys and 2 support staff. A co-worker is the only one of use who gets prompted to change her password. When she does that, she has to take further steps in order to be able to scan on our scanner and have the documents sent to her computer. I'm trying to disable hers.

Weird things is...ever since I've been here, the attorneys have had Windows 7 Pro. I just discovered that I'm running on Windows 7 Home Premium. Guess I should go back and see what she's running on.

Welp. Hers is fixed. I went back and followed the directions which I googled, and it worked. I guess I'm the only one not on Windows 7 Pro. Weird.
