Okay, before I write this, I want you to know that I am sitting here literally rubbing my eyes and forehead in exasperation.

YOU said, that "these WO's are having a better season than Bowe", yes?

I ask you; WHAT CHIEFS WR IS HAVING A GOOD SEASON? WHO?

None of those guys would look good here. All that move would do is prove to you that our qb sucks, which most of us already know.

That's not the question. Are they or are they not better WRs than Bowe. If given the chance would you not trade Bowe for any of them?

At the very least those guys have proven they can get "Alex Smith open" so that makes them better than Bowe in the first place. Bowe can't even do that right now. Alex Smith wouldn't have to force the ball to them like he has to to Bowe.

If you're complaining that your #1 receiver isn't getting force fed when he's covered enough, then that's a problem with the WR.

I give up your never going to get it. We will come back to this thread after Alex's tenure as a Chief is over and we still have 0 play off wins and 0 WR's with 1000 yards and we can talk!

I already know what it will be like though. Well, we never got that line fixed and we didnt get any wide recievers either. Yeah no shit, no one wants to play with Alex. Why? lol.

THis shit is getting no where.

a lot of those guys would still thrive here. quite a few of those guys are incredible route runners who routinely make dbs look reeruned. And then there are guys like Demaryius Thomas (the best yac guy in the league) who would still put up monstrous numbers here.

And you guys have no idea how to evaluate football players. **** it, lets just keep the whole WR corp for next year. They're good enough! It's all the QBs fault!

I haven't said a single good thing about Alex Smith this whole thread. I've purely talked about Bowe. That's how you evaluate players. Bowe hasn't looked ANYTHING like he used to look a few years ago. That doesn't have anything to do with Smith. He gets some of the worst separation of any #1 WR in the league. That has nothing to do with Smith. When he gets the ball, he's created so little room for himself that he cannot make any plays with it. That has nothing to do with Smith. Other #1 WRs can consistently get wide open and get good YAC after the ball.

If you want to create ANOTHER thread about Alex Smith, you can do so. But that's what ****ed this board up. Because people can't have conversations about other players without it turning into a Alex Smith thread.

I'll take a WR that can get open within 15 yards and then make the play after the catch consistently than a deep ball threat. Because people on this board severely overestimate the number of times deep balls are thrown in the league.

And yes, I know Smith HAS to throw more deep balls just to keep the defense honest.
I agree. So you're saying the Chiefs need to run more pick, oops I meant "legal rub," plays...

EXACTLY. You watch these WRs and they make DBs look absolutely terrible. I've seen quite a few of them juke DBs that are BEHIND them. Bowe can't do that. The DBs blanket him and the only option is to force feed him the ball the majority of the time. That's not what a #1 WR is.

I don't know why more teams in the league don't run as many of them to be honest. The drag route that the Pats and Denver use is killer. Get a guy like DAT to run it and he would kill.
