Iiiiiiii'm dreaminggg...of a whiiiiiite Monday....

They're forecasting something on the order of a foot or more of snow in Denver on Sunday and Monday. I sure like living close to work.

http://www.9news.com/weather/forecast.aspx

Sunday, cloudy in the morning. Rain/Snow showers in the early afternoon turning to heavy snow during the afternoon and continuing through the night. Highs in the mid to upper 30s before the snow begins with temperatures dropping into the 20s by evening.

Monday, SNOW: 10-14" in the Denver, Boulder, Ft.Collins areas with 18-30" for mountain locations east of the Continental Divide above 7,000 feet. Snow decreasing in the afternoon, but very cold with lows in the mid teens, highs in the upper teens and low 20s.

Anyone else looking at snow soon?

Nah, that only happens during the first snow of the year. Then again, it has been about a month or so since that one.

Latest from Joe in the FOX 4 weather blog:

No real changes for the models…delaying by maybe a few hours the changeover to Heavy snow…till closer to 3PM or so tomorrow…still a 6-10 hour window with heavy snow potential (6-10”+) for the metro 12+” up north…MUCH lighter down south. In house models give St Joe…get ready for this…25”…KCI 10”…Olathe 5”…Harrisonville 4”… More Later

That would depend how high in the mountains you go. There are places I fly fish, where there is still snow in the end of August. On the other hand, it was in the low 70's here last week. There is that old saying about the weather around here. If you don't like it, wait 24 hours.
