Level 21.

I had help with the gargoyles though. I had a phantom summoned, PLUS that soldier NPC summoned. 3 vs 2.

Dark Souls is amazing huh? I'm being cheap and farming souls in the forest, 6000 every minute or so, level 60 now and probably time to move on, lol.

Reverse hollowing to become human - then summon help for this one. The dogs are what make this battle a bitch. Take out the dogs first and then move up the staircase and to the right -- Capra will slowly traverse the stairs, letting you take a few shots at him, then jump down -- rinse and repeat.
This was a tough battle because of the close quarters.

Farming souls with the exploit? Running to the side of the stairs and letting the enemies drop off the cliff?
I did this until I was able to level my Dex up enough to wield the laito.

Yeah - I checked out the guide after dying a few times. Haven't tried it again.
