Might as well keep Albert now if the compensation isn't gonna be there. Just keep him this year play Fisher at RT and have a beast O Line.

Chiefs clearly aren't in rebuild they are trying to win now. No reason to get rid of one of your assets for less than his value unless they just feel his attitude is so bad that they want him out no matter what.

You're right. Lets not go for the #54 pick in this draft and instead take a 3rd round comp, or later comp pick, in 2015...

The Chiefs aren't in a full blown rebuilding mode, however they also aren't in a winning mode either. I don't care what Dorsey or Reid say in interviews. This team isn't winning with a mediocre "don't **** it up" style QB.

I still say keeping him and letting him play through the tag is our best option if we can't do any better than MIA's #54. I'd rather have him at LT for a year, then let him walk and get the comp pick as opposed to helping the Dolphins and taking less than he's worth. MIA basically told Dorsey **** you, we'll trade our higher 2nd and you're going to take #54 and like it.

I agree with this. Especially after they made a deal with Oakland, Miami can eat shit. Unless we can totally rape them, I say keep Albert or deal him to somebody else.

You are looking at it wrong. Forget the Dolphins. Do you really think the Chiefs FO thinks wether or not they wanna screw over the other team in this deal?
They have to do what is best for the Chiefs! A 2nd rd pick this year getting his salary off the books or keeping the $9.8 on and a 3rd comp (late) next year?

If BA is staying long term fine, but I doubt they drafted Fisher to play RT forever.

I'd hold out for the 2014 1st. The asking price doesn't go down because they didn't pull the trigger. Keep him if they won't part with that. I doubt we'll pull that off, though, judging by the way we got fleeced for Alex Smith and the fact that we didn't move at all yesterday.
