why did he not get drafted? What is it that held him back? Collins was a part of more wins than any player in KU history (130) but was not one of 60 players selected on Thursday.

Not this again. I'm not saying he SHOULDN'T have been drafted. But he was a borderline NBA guy. He is basically a 230 lbs 5 foot 10 shooting guard who doesn't take care of the ball very well. I think he actually could still make a team as a spark off the bench like a Nate Robinson, but the guy is still going to make alot of money overseas.

Hey guys, that was comments on the Eagles page, not mine.

I don't watch a lot of college BB until it comes to playoffs and then I follow KU/KState until they are out so I didn't know if he was all hype or not, that is why I asked you experts.

Former Kansas guard Sherron Collins, who went unselected Thursday night in the 2010 NBA draft, signed a free-agent contract with the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday, according to Collins’ agent. Collins will participate in summer workouts with the Bobcats, who are coached by former KU coach Larry Brown and owned by Michael Jordan.

“I think last night was probably a disappointing night for (Sherron),” KU coach Bill Self said. “But to wake up this morning and know that Michael Jordan and Larry Brown want him in their camp is something to certainly take the sting off from last night.

“Hopefully he will go in there with the right frame of mind and with an attitude to go earn it.”
