Achieving Balance, was Gunther the best hire Carl has made?

I know numbers don't tell everything, but looking at the teams rankings, a case could be made for Gunther.

Not in my opinion. Gunther, at best, is a very average DC. He was greatly aided in his previous time here with great Defensive players.

That said, I'm not a big fan of his (I'm the Anti-Guntherfan), so my response my be a bit jaded.

Hemied's thread ideas are almost as bad as his ability to take and post screencaps.

Well, only 2 seasons is a pretty small sample, but i would tend to say "yes", simply for the fact of 7-9 and 9-7.

Overall, i guess 16-16 is balance.

And...you are right, numbers don't always tell the whole story. As the old saying goes...figures lie, and liars figure!

Yep that was the point. His 1999 season was almost as mediocre as what Herm achieved last year. (league ranking)
