No doubt. Although, they basically needed to do one or the other at the time though. Either option sucked and would have provided similar results, but you can't go into that season with Thigpen as your QB.

But one cost us part of a second round pick (550 points minus any Vrabel value) while the other would have cost us 2,200 points). Given that they both suck, at least the Cassel option only cost us a quarter of what Sanchez would have.
