Pest's "Goodbye Albert" Mock...

Goodbye Branden Albert. Compensation: 2nd round pick in 2013 and a 3rd round pick in 2014 from the Cardinals.

1. Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
- BPA. **** Luke Joeckel. **** Eric Fisher.

2. Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff - Starter at RT in 2013. Stephenson gets his chance to hold down the LT spot. If it doesn't work out....then Armstead moves in 2014.

3. Jamie Collins, DE/OLB, Southern Miss - Our LB depth beyond Hali and Houston is ****ing horrid.

3. Kiko Alonso, ILB, Oregon - Obvious replacement for Belcher is obvious.

4. Brandon Williams, DE/DT, Missouri Southern - Jackson is gone after this year. Williams can rotate in this year.

5. Marquise Goodwin, WR/KR, Texas - A true deep threat at WR who can contribute on ST in 2013.

6. Duke Williams, S, Nevada - **** you Kendrick Lewis.

6. Brandon McGee, CB, Miami - Might as well draft some CB depth since Robinson will only be here a couple of years.

7. Theo Riddick, RB, Notre Dame - Because **** you....that's why.

I think you're a tad rosy on the compensation we'll receive for Albert.

But I'm glad you're embracing reality.

And people gave me shit for wanting to draft Okung and push Albert to LG or RT when he probably would have been okay with it, but it's okay to now jettison Albert for a second?

*sigh*

If we draft Geno, we will keep Albert. There's nobody in the 2nd round who would play his level at LT and we have the money to keep him.

If we are hell bent on trading Albert, we'll take a LT in the first.

Like most on the board, I prefer drafting Geno and keeping Albert.

I like both 3's and the 5th rd pick.

I think fans forget about the depth behind Hali and Houston. If there is an injury, ugh! Plus, if the dude is really good, try and figure out a way to get all of them on the field at once. The more pass rushers the better.

The 5th rd pick, I hope the Chiefs don't ignore the straight line speed in this draft because we have Avery now.
