Best Pizza in KC?
I will be traveling to KC to visit my sister and am wondering where the best pizza is in downtown KC. I will be there for a week and plan on going to Strouds, Arthur Bryants, Gates, Mannys and Oklahoma Joes. I want to get pizza/italian one of these days I am there. Any suggestions?

People who say Waldo Pizza is the best pizza... doesn't know shit about pizza.

Their pizza is comparable to Pizza Street....seriously. Finally went to one out in LSMO after hearing from a lot of people that "it's the place to go" for good pizza. HORRIBLY disappointed in that place. The Pizza Street or Pizza Shoppe whatever they call those $6 Buffet pizza places....CiCi's pizza? Very comparable to Waldo's IMO.

Minsky's is crap too.

There are 3 in KC that are head and shoulders above the rest.

(In this order)

1. Tim's Pizza
2. Funhouse Pizza
3. The Bronx Pizza

honorable mention for good Chicago Style deep dish: The Dish (Famous) Pizza - Liberty, MO

that sucks about Famous. I saw some of their pizzas at the Hy Vee down the road in the frozen pizza isle. Almost got one. I really liked their pizza....that's a bummer.

I got a Shaekspear Pizza from Hyvee...wasn't bad. Though it's nothing like the real thing in CoMo. Their wheat crust there is phenomenal.

I'm always leery of a place with a **** ton of ingredients, most likely aren't fresh, but Waldo does do a lot of volume.
