Nah this isn't a smaque talking thread as the schedule makers have decided we need to turn right around and play you again in a few weeks.... just a few points:

<LI> I thought both teams played well despite costly mistakes on both sides:
Gannons drive killing fumble of the snap that lead to KC's TD before the half... and KC's late 4th qtr back to back procedure (legit as 2 players were moving at the same time) and holding penalties.
<LI>Why did we get the scrub announcers?? Mark May and Ian (I pronouce my first name wrong) Engle.
<LI>For every one that argued stats regarding Shaw with me preseason, I give you the last Raider drive... I saw that exact defense at the end of many games last year... I don't care if your defense ranks #1 overall stat wise...
If you can't stop somebody at the end of the game, it means nothing!... Feel my pain KC, that same soft scheme cost Oakland 5 games last year.
<LI>I am led to believe your defensive coaching staff did not watch enough film on what is most effective against Gannon... That is all I'm going to say since we play again soon.
<LI>Moreau reminds me of Wheatley in the way he runs downhill...Why he doesn't get more touches amazes me.. Thank you KC for RBBC!

As I told Duck, I think we both have VERY good teams (including two VERY good QBs).

JQ - Could not find one thing to disagree on, I might add a game ball to Jano, just to keep the confidence thing going. Two for four is great, but three at the end wins it.

JQ - Congrats on the win, thank goodness we only have to wait a couple weeks to face you again.

I knew that the dink and dunk offense was going to be tough for us, at least with our current style of playing way of the WR's, and it did end up costing us at the end. Can't really argue too much with your take.

The only good thing I can say about this game is that I got paid 5 bills...I figured that was the most I was willing to pay for a Chiefs victory and if that didn't happen then 5 hundy would be a decent consolation prize. I would have rather lost the money....

I was wondering why in the world we got the second (maybe third) rate announcers also. This game was a decent game even on paper. Why didn't CBS give a better crew for the game.

Congratulations, hawaiianboy. The Raiders got a well-earned victory. Two-in-a-row at Arrowhead is impressive. It looks like the rivalry has been revitalized!
