if Cunningham and his skill set played in this current era today he would be looked at like a god.
That era was rare for a player like Cunningham, skin color, skillset, etc. He was a trendsetter for QBs of that talent and a role model for many guys to think they could play QB like that. I know we dont take influence into account, but he was the first of his style and in the 80s/90s caught a lot of heat in that era of football for not being like the Montanas, Aikmans, Kellys, Simms who was that image America wanted in their QB promotion of their favorite team at the time. Now you can market RG3, Cam Newton, etc and make ****ing millions of dollars. A dream. Randall was first and he put up good stats doing so |

Fouts beating Cunningham makes absolutely no sense.

Moving on are Fouts, Montana, Aikman, Elway, Favre, Young, Bradshaw, and Gannon.
Wow. I disagreed with the majority on 6 of the 8 picks.

I'll never give anything, other than the finger, to Elway.

For those idiots who voted for Elway over Otto, please watch this video and bow your head in shame for having no knowledge of the history of the game.

So he was an intramural star and a successful walk-on at Northwestern who habitually threw wounded ducks for some success in a non-SEC conference and we're supposed to feel guilty about voting for Elway?
