NFL's most filthy team: Cleveland Browns
7 Staph Infections since 2004! Yuck!!
Whats up with the Locker Room Hygiene in Cleveland? Swollen Nutsack and now a Staph Infection for Solja Boy. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/aro...urn=nfl,116645 NFL Players Association director of communications Carl Francis said Wednesday the union is filing a grievance with the league on behalf of suspended Cleveland Browns TE Kellen Winslow and former Indianapolis Colts DT Ed Johnson Winslow was suspended Tuesday for the game against Jacksonville Sunday and will not be allowed to participate in practice or meetings this week. He is the third significant player to be suspended for conduct reasons this season, following Giants WR Plaxico Burress and Chiefs RB Larry Johnson. Winslow accused the Browns of trying to hide a staph infection he suffered two weeks ago, which led to his hospitalization. It's the second staph infection he has suffered and at least the seventh for a Browns player since 2004. Although the Browns have taken measures to deal with the problem, such as clearing the building for a week to have it chemically treated to kill bacteria that cause staph infections, it has continued. "Kellen may not have handled it perfectly, but you really have to wonder about player safety in this situation," said a source. "If a player can't speak out when he's sick, you have problem. Lots of guys will get scared to say anything if the Browns can really do this." The one-game suspension will cost Winslow approximately $235,000. As for Johnson, he has yet to sign since being released by the Colts after one game this season. Johnson, cut in the second week of the season after being arrested for marijuana possession, was a part-time starter with the Colts as a rookie in 2007 and was expected to be a significant contributor this season. The union is expected to argue that under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, players can't be released for violations of the NFL's substance-abuse policy. |

Doesn't it seem like the swollen nutsac would be from the staph infection?
