Absolutely 100% real...

Anyone who isn't a believer...please spend one night in a place like the Villisca Axe Murder House, the Sallie House, Missouri State Pen, or hell even the Savoy Hotel and then come back and tell me they aren't real.

Spirits and ghosts are one of those things you have to experience it to believe...I understand why there's skeptics.

So youve been to all those places and seen ghosts there? What did you see exactly?
I would LOVE to go there. And as much as I would like to see something i would bet 1000 bucks I stay all night and have a boring story to tell the next morning.

Yes I've been to all three and I've seen shadow people at both the Sallie House and MO State Pen...collected great evidence at all three though.

You probably couldn't pay me enough to go back in the Sallie House lol...one of the scariest places I've been, in the top 3 for sure. Had some very uneasy experiences in that place...

Well the Sallie House had this ridiculous amplified negative energy the second you stepped in...in fact at one point or another 3 of our team became sick to their stomachs or drained of energy to the point they had to leave the house for a period of time.

We believe we came into contact with at least 2 and more than likely 3 malevolent entities...

Me personally I was touched on the back of my head, had my name spoken and some very nasty things directed towards me on the spirit box...witnessed a shadow figure in the master bedroom.

We had a team member shoved and a couple of them had something attach to them once they left.

It was one of very first investigations...we're trying to get back in this summer.

Crazy, scary night....

eh, I've done the missouri state pen ghost tour/overnight thing. never saw a damned thing that couldn't be easily explained as a psychosomatic reaction to naturally creepy conditions.

I used to do quite a bit of the ghost hunting, overnight stuff. And always came away disappointed. Never saw, heard, or felt a damn thing that was unexplained. Even when told beforehand that I was guaranteed to have an "Experience"...

I'm convinced that part of it is our natural reaction and expectations to the spooky. as previously mentioned, we're wired a certain way, to recognize certain patterns. the fact that we SEE them does NOT mean that it's spooky--it could very well be pure coincidence.

I think I was about 8 when I saw the previous owner of my parent’s house, she died in the house after building it herself and raising her family in it.
I’d never seen a picture of the lady before so there’s no logical reason for my mind to go there, yet there she staring around a corner at me.
I know it was her because later on I met an old lady neighbor that knew the previous owner and showed me a picture of them together. I described what she was wearing and neighbor lady said that’s what she was buried in, which were also her favorite Sunday church clothes.
Other incidents that happened in that house, cold spots, doors opening and closing by themselves, sounds of someone walking around, can be put off to it being an old drafty house, but not seeing her myself. I can still vividly picture her some 38 years later.

I have some relatives that own a house that has some strange stuff that goes on occassionally. I had heard talk they could often hear people walking around upstairs when no one was there, but I brushed it off as nothing. One day I was there by myself in the dining room and vividly heard someone come in from the garage door and loudly walk up the stairs. I thought it must be my nephew as he gets out of school at 3 and it was 3:15. I got up to get something to drink and all the sudden my nephew comes in the garage door. I'm like, "didn't you come in just a few minutes ago??" He says, "No I just got here." I went upstairs to check and nothing was there. So who was that I heard coming in a few minutes earlier? No idea.

I stayed the night over there several times sleeping in an upstairs room. I always noticed this particular room seemed to stay extremely cold. In the winter the rest of the house would be warm and that room would be so cold I'd have to wear a jacket to sleep. One night I was sleeping there and was woken by something crushing my chest making it impossible to breathe. At first I thought my nephew had come in and was messing with me, but when I finally fought it off nothing was there. I am familiar with sleep paralysis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis) and mentally chalked it up as that. However, not 2 minutes later, when i'd just closed my eyes to go back to sleep, it happened AGAIN! It felt like something very very strong pinning my arms back against the bed and sitting on my chest. I couldn't breathe and couldn't move. I couldn't get it off. All the sudden i remembered reading something about how the word "god" is to evil spirits what garlic is to vampires. I said the word "god" and all the sudden whatever was there vanished. Pretty scary.

I never said anything to anyone about that episode because I didn't want to create paranoia and as far as I know nothing else like that has happened. The house was built in 2000 and they've lived there since 2005 so I doubt anyone died there or anything so not sure what is going on.
