Interesting.Does it make any difference in the races. The one I went to was a Busch truck race in July and all we were allowed was a bottle of water in.

I'm not sure of the past summer's schedule, but the truck race you went to wasn't a "Busch" truck race but rather a Nascar Truck Series race.

I can understand the negative feelings towards Nascar racing. I lived in the northeast for 30 years and although there was Nascar tracks nearby, I felt it was a redneck sport. I moved South in 2000, and attented my first race that fall. It hasn't totally replaced football, but I really do like it. There's no comparison to other sports, but that's a good thing. Each has its own appeal and market. One of the biggest differences was as long as I could carry or wheel the cooler in, it was cool. Now since 9/11, things have changed a bit. But the local track where I live, Lowes Motor Speedway, I can still carry enough beer in cans and enough soda and food to keep me and my family happy. And for much less than seeing a football game.

I wouldn't go to a NASCAR race if it was free.

Based on what you said about Christmas Day I'm assuming you'll bringing a flask to the game.
