Carlota's get out and Rock the MLB vote!

I am so sick of the way the MLB picks the All-Star players. It's a big High School popularity contest, with nothing but Yankees and Red Sox players winning, deservedly or not. And even then, the best player on those teams may not be going. For Instance, Kevin Youkalis isnt even on the ballot, even though he is having an incredible season and HE is playing first base for the Sox.
However, I've decided, if you cant beat 'em, join 'em.

On KOMP.com we have put up "Carlota's Rock the (MLB) Vote".
Basically I'm encouraging the west coast to vote. It seems as if we over here are too busy laying out in the sun to pay attention or something...I'm encouraging everyone to vote, dont get me wrong, but the west coast is pretty bad about it.

I'm also encouraging people to vote for players who they think should go, and I have my own personal list of players I think are getting snubbed because they dont play for NY or BOSTON or Chicago.

I mean there are other players on the Giants other than Barry. There are at least 2 Angels getting snubbed and how can you not like Eric Byrnes of the D-Backs. That guy plays like a rock-all star. Jeter is NOT the best SS in the AL, O. Cabrera from the Angels is and he isnt even in the running.

So, agree or disagree with my list, please check it out and vote. Also, a little disclaimer...

I have A-rod on the list. I know he's not getting snubbed, and I know he's a BITCH..but he's a hot sexy BITCH..YUM--He looks good in his uniform!!!.

And I have Ramirez from the Cubs, who is also not getting snubbed, however, its the Cubs. Something bad will happen and he will fall off the list. I'm just trying to make sure he stays on...;-)

Check it out, even though I have no Royals on the list...;-)

I really thought hard about putting Martin from the Dodgers on the list as well. I put Molina on my list becasue he has slightly better numbers, but Martin is definately a force to be reckoned with, and will be in future All-Star games for sure.

JJ Hardy, Handly Ramirez, and Peralta should all be mentioned in the discussion of all-star shortstops.

Right on! I'm all for the unknown stud player who is not getting their due. I say Cabrera bcuz he has the best defensive fielding percentage--.986--wayyyyy above anyone else and he is batting .330 something.
