Wow, I can't believe I missed this reply.

I don't know what all of those places say because I don't spend much, if any, time looking at those. What I do know is that Madden plays much different than 4-5 years ago. I know this because I have played them. I challenge you to go play a game of Madden 2009 and then a game of Madden 25 and tell me it is not different. Look, I'm not defending EA. They do have things that they need to fix and have needed to fix for years. And I will admit that I don't have this year's game (I do have Madden 2013), but I have played it a few times. Still, for someone to say it's basically the same game is BS.

EA's engine is complete garbage. Still does not take into account real player physics and momentum, even on Next Gen. Graphics are 'slightly upgraded', AI is still easily confused on blocking assignments. Heck, I got instantly sacked last night by a kid that rushed 1 person, and dropped the rest into coverage. 4 of my lineman stood around while only 1 blocked him 1v1.

Pop in APF2k8 for 30 mins and see how far behind EA is.. and that game is like 9 years old.

The thing is they rewrite parts of the game.

Like i say look at the games the sports games they are competing in or were very recently. Their Fifa game is fun. I enjoy the hell out of it. Basketball, i will give em a few years since they pretty much took a few years off and are starting over. Hockey i know they put alot of attention too before 2K gave up. To be honest there isnt many Hockey fans at least enough to warrant 2 hockey games. 2K fell behind and they pulled out. To much money to put into when the reward is not really gonna be there.

Its all about football, basketball and soccer. Them 2 sports sell a shit ton of games and Basketball has recently joined in on that. Hoops wasnt a big seller til like 2009-2010.

2K recently got into WWE wrestlng too, i know its not a "pro sport" but its under 2K Sports and its fun as hell. I dont have any ties to 2K anymore. I dont talk to them or anything anymore, im out of the loop. If they get into the NFL again, ill reach out and get back into the loop. They still send me games on release and i do nothing for them anymore. They have been awesome to me. I wont lie, i have bias towards them.
